Despite being easy to set-up and use (see How it Works), the DataTach multi-gauge is packed with high-tech functionality:

Inputs:

  • GPS speed and heading
  • Revolutions per minute (from one or two engines)

Computer Processing:

  • Calculates propeller slip from speed, RPM, and propeller pitch ( for one or two engines)
  • Captures data at 5 times per second

Display:

  • GPS speed in either MPH or KPH
  • Engine RPMs - for one or two engines
  • Propeller slip (as a percentage) - for one or two engines
  • Maximum speed since last reset

Recording to memory card:

  • GPS speed
  • RPM
  • Propeller slip
  • Heading

Memory card data transfer:

  • Easily uploaded to this website for processing and presentation in graph form.
  • Memory card can also be used to transfer new software to the gauge when updates occur.
