How it Works
The DataTach multi-gauge is easy to set-up and use.
_______________________________________________________________________

After you've installed the DataTach gauge, you must teach it a bit about your boat, including propeller pitch, drive train gear ratio, and number of tachometer pulses per engine revolution. This information is stored in a non-volatile memory -- you set it once you're done.

Once the gauge is set-up and you're on the water, GPS speed and heading Engine RPMs, and computed propeller slip are all displayed. The gauge also tracks maximum speed, which can be recalled or reset with the flip of a switch.

Then, with the optional recording module, you can record boat performance data onto a removable memory card (like those used in digital cameras). It's as simple as 1, 2, 3 ...

Step 1

Insert a memory card

Step 2

Momentariy toggle the "Record/Stop" switch to "Record" before starting a run and to "Stop" at the end of the run.

Step 3

Remove the memory card and upload the data to this website to generate graphs of your boat's performance data View Demonstration.
